PDXLAN, a not-for-profit organization, was established in 2002 with the first event taking place in July of 2003. PDXLAN was founded by a group of avid PC-Gamers that wanted a large LAN party in the Portland, Oregon area.

Grimoire Academy will host the Gothic Market from noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 14 and 15 at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 17402 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield. Inspired by pop culture shows like “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” classic horror films and spooky folklore, this sale showcases artisan goods celebrating Halloween, horror, witches, vampires, monsters, goth couture, the supernatural, strange things and dark fairytales with crystals, plushies, candles, herbs, fragrances and metaphysical products and services. Gothic attire is encouraged. Tickets start at $3 online but increase up to $15 as the date approaches. Buy tickets at events.humanitix.com.
