La Traviata
One of the most beloved operas ever written, La Traviata pairs soaring melodies with a deeply personal story of love and sacrifice. At its center is Violetta, an independent woman navigating desire, societal expectation, and the fragile possibility of happiness on her own terms. As romance and reality collide, Verdiâs luminous score reveals the emotional complexity of living authentically in a world determined to impose its rules. Tender, tragic, and timeless, the opera continues to resonate for its compassionate portrayal of Violettaâs vulnerability, resilience, courage as she chooses personal truth in the face of public judgment.

7Beck
Eight-time Grammy winner Beck has built a singular career by drawing on many eras and styles of music, blurring boundaries between them and pairing musical exploration with unexpected turns. From his breakthrough with âLoserâ and the debut album Mellow Gold to the influential Odelay and later releases including Mutations, Midnite Vultures, Sea Change, Guero, The Information, and Modern Guilt, each record has taken a distinct direction.
Beck: Ride Lonesome Tour
Eight-time Grammy-winner Beck has traveled light years from his emergence as a reluctant generational spokesperson when âLoserâ exploded from a rejected 1992 demo into a ubiquitous 1994 smash. In the decades since, Beck's singular career has seen him utilize all manners and eras of music, blurring boundaries and blazing a path into the future while simultaneously foraging through the past.
Surfacing just as the mainstream and alternative rock intersected, no small thanks to his 1994 debut Mellow Gold, Beck quickly confounded expectations with subsequent releases including the lo-fi folk of One Foot in the Grave. But the album that first cemented Beckâs place in the pantheon was 1996âs multi-platinum Best Alternative Grammy winner Odelay. Odelay remains a key cultural touchstone from the indelible hooks of "Devil's Haircutâ and âThe New Pollution" to the irresistible call and response of the Grammy-winning "Where It's At.â
From the world-tripping atmospherics of 1998's Mutations (Beck's second album to win the Best Alternative Grammy) and the fluorescent funk of 1999's Midnite Vultures through the somber reflections of 2002's Sea Change, 2005's platinum tour de force Guero, 2006's sprawling The Information, 2008's acclaimed Danger Mouse-produced Modern Guilt, no Beck record would ever sound like its predecessor.
That pattern would be upended in sublime sonic fashion with the 2014 release of Morning Phase. A companion piece of sorts to his 2002 masterpiece Sea Change, Morning Phase conjured the staggering downtempo impact of that record through the lens of an infectious optimism. The chorus of critical acclaim for Morning Phase was instant and unanimous, as Beck rolled into 2015 taking the Album of the Year top honor at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, as well as the prize for Best Rock Album. Morning Phase also won in the Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical) category.
True to his chameleonic nature, Beck followed up Morning Phaseâs subdued beauty with Colors, an intoxicating rainbow of auditory tricks and treats that went on to win Best Alternative Music Album (Beckâs third) and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical (the second Beck album to do so) at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019. That same year, Beck would offer a first glimpse into his 14th studio album Hyperspace with the stunning surprise single âSaw Lightningââwritten and produced by Beck and Pharrell Williams, who would be credited as co-writer and co-producer on seven of Hyperspaceâs 11 tracks.
Beck has spent much of the last few years dazzling live audiences with a grab bag of engaging performances ranging from a handful of freeform one-off shows, to 2023âs massive Summer Odyssey tour with co-headliners Phoenix. Summer Odyssey played to packed houses from the Kia Forum in L.A. to Madison Square Garden and beyond, and was followed by a historic full concert performance with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestraâwhich inspired a series of orchestral performances at the likes of New Yorkâs Carnegie Hall and Londonâs Royal Albert Hall. The past few years have seen Beck embark on limited runs of orchestral dates featuring musicians who played on milestones including Mutations, Sea Change and Morning Phase accompanied by native orchestras in each city, delivering uniformly unforgettable evenings of unique symphonic arrangements of classics and deep cuts from his towering catalog and beyond.
Penn & Teller
From humble beginnings 50 years ago busking on the streets of Philadelphia, to acclaimed soldâout runs on Broadway and renown as the longest-running and one of the most-beloved resident headline acts in Las Vegas history, magicâs legendary duo â Penn Jillette and Teller â continue to defy labels (and at times physics and good taste), by redefining the genre of magic and inventing their own very distinct niche in comedy.
Their Off-Broadway debut in 1985 electrified New York with a stage show the likes of which had never been seen. Combining magic, comedy, and social commentary in a theatrical event the New York Times said was a âA witheringly funnyâŚBrazen assault on the temple of magic,â the show moved to Broadway in 1987, the first of three eponymously titled Broadway runs. Their efforts in New York have been awarded an Obie and a Lucille Lortel Award. Their most recent return to Broadway, hailed as âDeliciously Dementedâ by USA Today, was the highest-grossing non-musical for the entirety of its run, even out-grossing Hamilton for one week.
Performing nearly 300 live shows every year from the stages of Americaâs greatest performing arts venues as well as the Sydney Opera House and Londonâs Apollo Theatre, their record-breaking Las Vegas show at The Rio Hotel & Casino has an amazing 10 wins, including 2025, as âLas Vegas Magicians of the Yearâ and was called âThe single best show in Vegas,â by the Los Angeles Times.
The current hit series Penn & Teller: Fool Us! for The CW Network, on which up-and-comers and magic veterans try to fool Penn & Teller for a chance to star in the pairâs hit Las Vegas stage show, was nominated for a Criticâs Choice Award and has been renewed for an unprecedented 12th season. The show is the longest continual American magic television series in history, introducing the art to new fans and cultivating new generations of innovators within the craft.
Hundreds of outrageous appearances on everything from Fallon to Friends, The Simpsons to Colbert, Modern Family to Big Bang Theory, Dancing With The Stars to The Masked Singer, plus their own specials for NBC, ABC, PBS and Comedy Central have garnered them an Emmy, a Writers Guild Award, and their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The controversial Showtime series, Penn & Teller: BS! was nominated for 13 Emmys and was the longest-running series in the history of the network. The show highlighted the pairâs ardent skepticism by tackling the fakes and frauds behind such topics as alien abduction, psychics, and bottled water.
In recent years they have become acclaimed documentarians with the BAFTA-nominated Sony Pictures Classic release, Timâs Vermeer, which follows Texas-based inventor Tim Jenison on his quest to discover the methods used by Dutch Master painter Johannes Vermeer. Their other films, the critically-lauded feature The Aristocrats and the Showtime short The Gamblerâs Ballad, were met with wide praise.
The Olivier-nominated Magic Goes Wrong, written and created in collaboration with Mischief Theatre (creators of the Tony-nominated The Play That Goes Wrong), played at Londonâs West End Vaudeville Theatre, setting a box office pre-sale record. The Daily Mail hailed it as a âSpellbinding romp,â while The Sun theater critic raved, âIâll be laughing into next week.â In 2024, they had two shows running Off-Broadway as creators and producers: the Magic Goes Wrong spin-off The Mind Mangler, which returned to Londonâs West End in
March, and the technology/magic/thriller Stalker.
As individuals, they are just as prolific. Teller directed versions of Macbeth and The Tempest which toured to raves from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, co-wrote and directed the Off-Broadway thriller Play Dead and has written two books. Penn has written five books, including the New York Times Best Sellers âGod No!â and âPrestoâ. For his role in this yearâs critically acclaimed Oscar-nominated film, Marty Supreme, he was nominated for an Actor Award (formerly the SAG Awards), alongside co-stars Timothee Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Twice named âMagicians of the Yearâ by the Academy of Magical Arts, the equivalent of the Oscars in magic, they were named the 2024 Masters Fellowship recipients, the highest honor the Academy bestows. The pair live in Las Vegas where they are engaged in their community, acting as honorary chairmen for AFAN (Aid for AIDS Nevada), raising and donating nearly $2 million and serving as grand marshals for AFANâs annual Las Vegas AIDS Walk for the past 23 years. Through their involvement with Opportunity Village, which assists in employment placement and lifestyle betterment for those living with intellectual disabilities, they have raised over $1 million. The annual blood drive, Penn & Tellerâs 13 Bloody Days of Christmas, has resulted in over 85,000 donors since its inception. In 2023, they took part in the USOâs annual Christmas tour, entertaining thousands of servicemen and servicewomen in bases across Europe.
In 2025, the pair celebrated 50 years as innovators in combining smart, edgy comedy with their unique magical style.
Brett Goldstein: Sex, Death & Small Talk
British breakthrough Brett Goldstein has swiftly cemented his status as a formidable creative force, both on and off screen.
Goldstein most recently starred opposite Jennifer Lopez in the Netflixâs irreverent romantic comedy âOffice Romance,â which he also co-wrote and produced alongside Joe Kelly. The film immediately soared to the No. 1 spot globally, drawing an astonishing 20.9 million views in its opening weekend.
He also continues to push creative boundaries as co-creator and executive producer of the cathartic comedy âShrinking,â alongside Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence. The Emmy-nominated Apple TV series is currently in production on its fourth season. In addition to his work behind the scenes, Goldsteinâs pivotal guest performance has drawn widespread critical acclaim. His contributions to the series have earned him a BAFTA TV Craft Award nomination for âWriter: Comedy,â a SAG Award nomination for âOutstanding Ensemble,â and a 2024 WGA nomination for âNew Series.â
Goldstein first broke through as writer, executive producer, and star of the Apple TV phenomenon âTed Lasso,â set to return for its fourth season in August. His brash yet lovable performance as Roy Kent previously earned him two consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards for âBest Supporting Actor in a Comedyâ â the first back-to-back win in the category in nearly 15 years. He also received a Critics Choice Award, Golden Globe nomination, and shared in the SAG Award for âOutstanding Ensemble,â along with the WGA Awards for âBest Comedy Seriesâ and âBest New Series.â
Most recently, it was announced that Goldstein will create and star in the male escort comedy series âEscortedâ for Amazon MGM Studios. This is on the heels of bringing his signature charm and sharp wit to HBO with his first stand-up special, âThe Second Best Night of Your Life,â following a sold-out North American tour. The special earned him nominations at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards and Critics Choice Awards.
In film, Goldstein stars in KornĂŠl MundruczĂłâs latest drama âAt the Seaâ alongside Amy Adams and Murray Bartlett, which had its world premiere at the 2026 Berlin Film Festival. He also lent his voice to Craig Mazinâs animated feature âThe Sheep Detectivesâ for Amazon MGM Studios. This follows his devasting performance opposite Imogen Poots in âAll of You,â a humorous and heart-wrenching romantic drama he also co-wrote and produced. The film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, later screened at BFI London, and is now streaming on Apple TV.
The tour de force also hosts the iHeartRadio award-winning podcast âFilms to Be Buried With,â which finds him in candid, often hilarious conversations with special guests as they discuss the films that have shaped them.
He has no time for dinner.
Dwight Yoakam
Dwight Yoakam is a legendary artist whose influence has reshaped the landscape of country music and beyond. With over 25 million albums sold worldwide, he is a 21-time GRAMMYÂŽ nominee and multiple GRAMMYÂŽ Award winner. His catalog includes 12 gold albums and 9 platinum or multi-platinum releases, with five topping Billboard Country Albums chart and 14 landing in the Top 10. Nearly 40 of his singles have charted on Billboard, including 14 Top 10 hits.
A recipient of the Americana Music Associationâs Artist of the Year award and BMI Country Musicâs Presidentâs Award, the highest honors bestowed by each organization, Yoakam was also inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019.
His latest release, Brighter Days (Via Records/Thirty Tigers), marks his first new album in nine years. Released in November 2024, the album was written and recorded over a three-year period and features twelve brand-new songs written or co-written by Yoakam. It also includes three seemingly disparate covers: âKeep On the Sunny Sideâ by the Carter Family, âBound Awayâ by Cake, and âTime Betweenâ by Chris Hillman of The Byrds, artfully woven into the same body of work in the unmistakable style that could only be Dwight Yoakam.
A passionate curator of musical heritage, Yoakam launched his SiriusXM channel Dwight Yoakam and The Bakersfield Beat: Where Country Went Mod in 2018, spotlighting the Bakersfield sound and its far-reaching influence. The channel celebrates the Bakersfield sound and those whom it has inspired. Guests have included Post Malone, Lukas Nelson, Beck, Chris Hillman, Jakob Dylan, and Jackie DeShannon.
In 2016, Yoakam released Swimminâ Pools, Movie Stars..., on Sugar Hill Records. Featuring a band of bluegrass luminaries, this album boasts a collection of reinterpreted favorites from his catalogue, as well as a cover of Princeâs âPurple Rainâ. Produced by nine-time GRAMMYÂŽ winner Gary Paczosa (Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton), Jon Randall (songwriter of âWhiskey Lullabyâ), and Yoakam himself, and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, this album reflects the love for bluegrass music that Yoakam developed at an early age in Kentucky and that has inspired him for many years thereafter. In 2018, Yoakam released two songs, âPretty Horsesâ and âThen Came Mondayâ (the latter written with Chris Stapleton).
Yoakam is a multifaceted artist, seamlessly blending his musical talents with a robust acting career. He has appeared in over 40 feature films, including notable roles in Sling Blade (1996) and Panic Room (2002). He later reunited with Billy Bob Thornton for David E. Kelleyâs Amazon series Goliath. Yoakam portrayed Warden Burns in Steven Soderbergh's Logan Lucky (2017) alongside Channing Tatum and Daniel Craig and took on the role of Howard Polk in Clint Eastwood's Cry Macho (2021). Throughout his career, he has demonstrated his acting range alongside acclaimed actors such as Jodie Foster, Tommy Lee Jones, Jared Leto, Forest Whitaker, and Matthew McConaughey.
Whether on stage, in the studio, or on screen, Yoakam continues to evolve as one of the most compelling and culturally significant artists of our time.
