Pee Wee Herman Pub Crawl

Meredith Walter, Jen LaneMap

Join us Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 3pm to 9pm for a playful Pee-Wee Herman-themed adventure through the Clinton/Division Street neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. You may see Miss Yvonne at Double Barrel, or cross paths with Cowboy Curtis at the Reel ‘m’ Inn. You might share some fries with Pee-wee himself at Dot’s. Don your best Pee-wee Herman-themed costume and join us on this one-of-kind, epic bar crawl. The group will hit about half a dozen bars, all featuring Pee-wee themed drink and food specials. In honor of Paul Reubens, Pee-wee Herman himself, a devoted animal lover, we're donating 75% of proceeds directly to PDX Cat Trapper, a grassroots Portland feral cat rescue and registered 503c charity. If you love the world of Pee-wee Herman and cats, then this is the event for you! Tickets are $20 and available at https://peeweepubcrawl.com/tickets. The secret meet-up location will be sent only to ticket holders. During the pub crawl, there will be multiple costume contests, a Pee-wee trivia competition, a scavenger hunt, a sound-alike contest, dance-offs, and more fun than you can shake a stick at! Stick around for the after-party featuring a special DJ spinning records. Prizes will be awarded for the various contests at this time. The Pee-wee Pub Crawl is the brainchild of Meredith Walter, a devoted Pee-wee fan! She’d long dreamt of doing a pub crawl in tribute to Paul Reubens, so she enlisted Portland's pub crawl expert, former BarFly Bus hostess with the mostess and planner-in-chief, Jen Lane. Together, they enlisted the help of their fellow Pee-wee afficionados, prolific publisher and dynamic graphic artist, Jared Prophet, the noted artist, deejay, and event creator, Matt Stanger, and The Photobooth Chick, herself, Jocelyn Dean. Together, this dynamic team has whipped together a frothy day of pure fandom fun - get your Pee-wee Pub Crawl tickets today!

Tik Tok: 2010s Recession Pop Dance Night Featuring DJ Dance Dance

2010's DANCE PARTY ALERT!

Get ready to rewind to the era of skinny jeans, Tumblr crushes, and iPod Touch playlists - when the world felt upside down but the music absolutely slapped.

We're diving head-first into 2010s recession pop: the glittering, chaotic, high-energy anthems that carried all of us through the mess with eyeliner smudged and hands in the air.

Ke$ha. Gaga. LMFAO. Rihanna. Icona Pop. Katy Perry.
Breakups you live-tweeted.
Lip gloss, neon lights, and bass drops.
The hits that defined a decade of pure, shameless fun.

Grab your friends. Charge your phone (for the mirror selfies, obviously). And get ready to dance like it's 2010 all over again.

Let's rage.

DANCE MODE: FAMILY RAVE

GET TICKETS HERE!

DANCE MODE: FAMILY RAVE 🌈✨

For years, rave parents have had to choose — leave the dance community behind, or leave the kids at home. We don't think that should be a choice.

Dance Mode brings the floor to the whole family. We believe the next generation deserves to grow up inside this culture — to learn PLUR (Peace ✌️, Love ❤️, Unity 🌍, Respect 🙏) not as a slogan, but as something they felt with you, on the floor, holding your hand.

This isn't just a party. It's a chance to bond with your kids over the same music, lights, and connection that shaped you — and pass it down.

WHAT TO EXPECT

🦄 The Flow: We open with a 30-minute warm-up — simple movement together, getting comfortable in the space as a family. From there we build into higher-energy dancing on the main floor. We close with a 30-minute cool-down, where we come back together and acknowledge the dance community we're building.

🎵 The Music: A curated DJ set that mixes kid favorites right alongside grown-up House and EDM classics — curated for the mixed crowd, with something for everyone on the floor.

🎨 Activities: Sparkly face painting with gems, plus a kandi-making station — everyone can make one bracelet for themselves and one to share, a hands-on way for kids to learn Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect and what it means to pass those values to others.

🧘 Sensory Refuge Room: A quiet space on-site for kids (or adults) who need a break from the sound and lights, with coloring and fidgets.

🎧 Forgot your sensory headphones? We've got a limited quantity for sale at the merch table.

🍕 Food & Drinks: Available for purchase on-site.

👗 What to Wear: However you feel most comfortable moving — costumes, rave gear, sweats, whatever works for you and your kids 😊

Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812

Lewis & Clark College615 South Palatine Hill Road

From the celebrated and award-winning composer Dave Malloy comes Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812, an electropop opera based on a scandalous slice of Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace. Young and impulsive, Natasha Rostova arrives in Moscow to await the return of her fiancé from the front lines. When she falls under the spell of the roguish Anatole, it is up to Pierre, a family friend in the middle of an existential crisis, to pick up the pieces of her shattered reputation. Following a critically exalted premiere at Ars Nova in New York City, a subsequent off-Broadway transfer and an acclaimed run on Broadway, this award-winning musical expands the possibilities for the genre with its daring score and bold storytelling.

No Refunds: ASHEZ, Comisar, hobi, Swell Times, Florescent

Who said shopping was boring? The shelves are stocked with some of the most inspiring artists The White Owl Social Club knows. They've got familiar favorites, unexpected finds, and a few things you didn’t know you needed.

Auckland’s ASHEZ stops through on his US tour with the heavy, culture-blending bass he’s carried across continents. Comisar steps up for his first-ever solo set in Portland. hobi lands his first Objective show outside of a festival, and it’s been a long time coming. Swell Times makes the trip up from Bend with a catalog full of bangers, and Portland’s own Florescent rounds it out, a fresh act already way ahead of the curve.

The White Owl Social Club is proud to host Ethos Audio with their Intent Audio Sound System and a full-stage production by Beam Collective. It's exciting to be back at a venue where with a little more control over the environment.
